Pound your tent stakes in securely with the Coleman Rubber Mallet With Hook. Use the mallet end to anchor your tent pegs securely. When it's time for take-down, use the hook to easiliy pull the stakes out of the ground. The Rubber Mallet is great for use with metal or plastic tent pegs, and weighs 16 ounces.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Its Hammer time
Recently just bought my first house and needed a variety of things, ended up needing to get this hammer to assemble some large metal storage racks I bought. Stood up just fine to me banging away, seems pretty solid.
Rubber is NOT made of the scuff proof stuff, so if you hit something at an angle or on a painted surface you are likely going to get a scuff mark. Overall feels like it'll hold up for a long time with the lite use it'll get out of me. The hanging hook was a nice touch.

Price
These are about $2 at Walmart. Handy tool, hook does bend easily though. We have hard clay in parts of CA and it gets the job done.
Rubber Mallet is OK, Peg Remover Hook is GARBAGE
The mallet itself will drive in everything from the smaller cheaper pegs, to the bigger nail heads without issue. It doesn't damage pegs, and after driving hundreds of pegs, seems to hold up ok.
The peg remover, is weak and will give way to hard pulls. Bending it back is worthless, it seems to be weaker after you bend it. I'd buy this for the mallet perhaps, but no the peg remover. Save your money.
