In response to previous review
I represent PahaQue, and let me start out by apologizing to the previous customer for the problems they experienced with our Tepee Shower/Outhouse tent. The no-see-um grade mesh that we use on the Tepee is 2.6oz fabric, and is heavier than most of our competitors. With that said however, it will rip when a pole is pushed through it with enough force. We have a set up video that illustrates how the Tepee can be set up in 5 minutes or less, when the instructions are followed properly. Our newer models have pole sleeves, but there may still be some units in dealers inventories that have the previous design.
We have been producing the Tepee for over 12 years, and it has been a highly successful product for us. The Tepee is camping's first light-weight and free standing shower and outhouse tent, and we feel is still the best on the market.
If the previous customer will please contact us, we will gladly replace your damaged Tepee with an new, current model. We...

Perfect!
I have wanted one of these for years. We were heading to a music festival that would have limited facilities, and that finally pushed us to get it. I decided to go with this one versus the cheaper brands out there b/c of the poor reviews on the others. I couldn't be happier. We put a fully loaded sun shower in the shower holder hammock thingy at the top and the structure barely moved. It has nice little features like a zipper lock on the inside, a zipper access to the towel rod, and many other little niceties.
We got the aluminum poles b/c they are more durable. All fiberglass poles will start to fray and crack in time. So, the difference between the two is not just weight.
It is a bit of a challenge to set up. You have to get inside of it and get the poles into all of the places they need to be without crossing them. I have been camping for over 30 years, I'm an eagle scout, and I have owned several other tents (so I know what I'm doing), and I found it...
Still looking for a good shower tent
First of all don't believe the "set up in 5 minutes" claim. It takes substantially longer. If using for an outhouse, you better set it up the night before!
The netting on this tent is low quality. I poked a tent pole right through it on the first go round.
The directions are apparently for a previous version of this tent. It refers to "sleeves" that no longer exist. You now have to carefully thread the poles through a total of 16 tabs and clips, sometimes from through the tent fabric.
Are we just doomed to suffer this Chinese junk from now on?
